PACAF Training Package

The Audit of Procurement and Contracts Training Package is:

  • Aimed at auditors working in the public sector;
  • Administered by CIPFA;
  • Accredited by the Institute of Administrative Management (IAM)
  • Delivered by experts in their field;
  • Can be delivered ‘locally' to organisations or audit groups; and
  • Extremely cost effective (can cost less than £150 pp per day).

 The package consists of the following seven modules:

 

1. Fundamentals of Contract and Procurement Auditing;

2. Strategy, Governance and Control;

3. Project Management;

4. Managing Operational Risks;

5. Partnering Arrangements;

6. Capital Management and Monitoring; and

7. PPP/PFI Contracts.

The dates for the current round of open delivery of the modules are as follows:

 

Module 1 - 27/28 September 2011

Module 2 - 18/19 October 2011

Module 3 - 22/23 November 2011

Module 4 - 6/7 December 2011

Module 5 - 10/11 January 2012

Module 6 - 23 February 2012

Module 7 - 7 March 2012
